beIN SPORTS pundits Richard Keys and Andy Gray have delivered their predictions for West Ham United’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will undoubtedly go into the game as favourites, and Keys and Gray’s’ predictions reflect that with both of them plumping for an away victory at the London Stadium.

“1-2,” Keys said on beIN SPORTS, indicating a Spurs triumph. “Yeah, I fancy Tottenham,” Gray replied. “You’ve gone 1-2 Tottenham, I’ll go… It’s either 0-2 or 1-3. I’ll go 1-3,” he finished.

Both men fancy Spurs to make it back to back defeats for the Hammers, further denting what had been a remarkable recovery from the team following their woeful start to the season.

OPINION

It’s no surprise that both Keys and Gray went for a Tottenham victory. The visitors sit fifth in the Premier League table, just two points behind leaders Manchester City, whereas West Ham are languishing in 15th after their 1-0 loss at Brighton & Hove Albion last time out. Obviously Spurs are going to be the favourites, but the Hammers at home are no pushovers and they’ll be bang up for this game. The performance was disappointing against Brighton but the team weren’t awful by any stretch of the imagination. If a few key players, Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson for example, have better games then there’s no reason for Manuel Pellegrini’s side not to pull off the upset against Spurs. They have the talent to cause this Tottenham defence problems, so it may simply come down to if the Hammers can limit what Tottenham do going forward at the other end of the pitch. If they do, then a positive result could well be on the cards.
