West Ham fans are delighted after a club Insider posted an update on their Austrian attacker Marko Arnautovic on Wednesday.
After a brilliant summer transfer window, fears were raised that there was going to be a sting in the tail when Italian outlet Leggo reported that West Ham had put their player up for sale, with Roma interested.
However, ExWHUemployee, an account with very close links to the club, posted an update refuting this.
He said that Arnautovic hadn’t been put up for sale and that no one had placed a bid for him. He also said that the 29-yer-old was training “superbly”.
He joked at the end that unless his brother convinced him to go, he would be happy to stay. This comes after his brother (and agent) was spotted at Inter, reportedly trying to engineer a return to the Italian club.
My news on Arnautovic has not changed. Just spoke to a couple of people who have told me he is not for sale and has been training superbly these last few days (including today) club donβt want to sell, no one has bid and unless his brother (agent) persuades him 2 go-he is happy

West Ham fans are delighted that Arnautovic is staying at West Ham, where he will link up with new signing Andriy Yarmolenko and Javier Hernandez in what could be a lethal three-pronged attack.
One fan confidently predicted that he would get 25 goals next season while another said he deserved a pay rise after his performances last campaign.
And a few Hammers fans asked why would he want to go, given the team that Manuel Pellegrini is building. It’s a good point.
Here are the best reactions from West ham fans:
The money the club would be looking for would be ridiculous which would put off clubs in the end. Maybe. Hopefully. pic.twitter.com/nU7EqFg6de

Best news ive had all day i know we are bias but i think personally for him a move away to a so called big club would be a bad move for him no guarantee of starting etc and especially with the team Pellegrini is building

Based on last seasons performance Iβd say heβs in line for a pay rise . We need him , n he loves us .

OPINION
Things can change overnight and nothing’s certain until the transfer window slams shut, but that’s not far away and it would take a monumental effort to wrench Arnautovic from West Ham now. Foreign clubs can still buy players for weeks after the early English August 9 deadline, but it would be highly unlikely for any major deals to go through like that with the disruption to the season that would involve. We think Arnie is around for at least another season.
