West Ham have launched a triple transfer swoop as their signing blitz intensifies, according to Sky Sports.

The broadcaster claim on their website that the Hammers are working on deals to sign Lazio attacker Felipe Anderson, Swansea defender Alfie Mawson and Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri.

Sky report that West Ham are in talks to sign both Anderson, 25, and Mawson, 24, and are interested in landing Seri, 26, who has a £35million release clause in his contract with the Ligue 1 club.

OPINION

West ham fans will be pinching themselves at the level of transfer activity at a relatively early stage of the window. While the eyes of the football world are on events in Russia, the Hammers have been busy replenishing a squad that fluffed their lines far too often en route to a 13th place finish last season. Combined deals of £30million have been completed for Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop and Lukasz Fabianski as West Ham have concentrated on refurbishing the equal-worst defence in the league last season. As Sky report, the club are also working overtime on sealing deals further up the pitch, including in central midfield and attack. Intriguingly, manager Manuel Pellegrini also appears to want another centre-back who can compete with Diop and Angelo Ogbonna for a starting role next season, not to mention rising star Delan Rice. It appears talks are advanced for at least two of the three potential new signings.
