West Ham United are reportedly willing to listen to offers for centre-back Winston Reid this summer, and fans have taken to Twitter in agreement with the decision.
As reported by club insider ExWHUemployee, the club are ready to field offers for the 29-year-old enforcer over concerns relating to his fitness.
The Hammers are said to be worried that Reid’s recurring injury problems this season are likely to get worse in the coming seasons, with Reid missing a massive chunk of the 2017/18 campaign with several differing problems.
ExWHUemployee claims that the club are not actively seeking to offload the New Zealand international talisman, but will be open to a sale should the right offer be tabled.
The club would listen to offers for him. As I said on the radio show, he is vulnerable at moment and club have concerns regarding his regular injuries and it is likely to get worse. Whilst we are not actively looking to sell-if the right offer comes in we could listen https://t.co/V2TrmqgbsY

Reid made just 20 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers this campaign as he first struggled with a calf injury before a groin strain and a knee problem put him out of further action.
The 29-year-old has made 223 appearances for the club since joining from FC Midtjylland in 2010, and is a well-loved figure among the West Ham faithful.
It seems however that supporters also recognise that Reid’s age is slowly catching up with him, with many taking to Twitter to agree with the reported decision to accept the right offer.
Forever West Ham have rounded up some of the best tweets:
Whilst I’ve always liked Reid I would be for this. This squad needs gutting and Reid has been part of a dismal defence.

For one or two seasons I thought Reid might be the most underrated CB in the premier leagueand should have been signed by Liverpool or arsenal. Absolutely love the bloke but think his form has downturned and the injuries mean I'd be happy to sell. But what a player for the club
