West Ham target Felipe Anderson is demanding wages of £80,000-a-week as talks continue over a possible move to the London Stadium, according to Claret and Hugh

The Hammers news website, which is a reliable source for insider information, report that the two sides are still attempting to agree on a fee for the 25-year-old jet-heeled dazzler.

Claret and Hugh claim that reports Chelsea are now interested are false, with the Hammers so far tabling a £26.5million offer with £7million in add-ons for the Brazilian speedster.

Good move for West Ham?

100%.

Anderson is the perfect addition for West Ham in attack this summer, with the club needing an out-and-out winger who can create something from nothing.

The Brazilian is known as one of the fastest players in Serie A, and that pace will allow him to devastate defences for the Irons as Manuel Pellegrini looks to streamline their attack.

It looks likely that the club will be paying over £30million for him, but that looks worth it as they seek to climb the table and challenge for Europe next season.

Likely to happen?

All the signs are pointing towards a positive conclusion to talks, but as they always say, anything can happen in football.

Claret and Hugh seem to believe that the rumours about Chelsea entering the hunt are wide of the mark, and that is a promising sign as the club look to wrap up a deal.
