West Ham fans on social media destroyed Joe Hart after a report claimed that the goalkeeper blamed David Moyes for him being set to miss the World Cup.

The Daily Mail reported that the 31-year-old have been personally called by England manager Gareth Southgate in order for him to be told that he wouldn’t be named in his nation’s squad for the World Cup.

The newspaper claimed that while Hart graciously took the call, he was left devastated by the news and furious at Moyes, who he blamed for getting him the axe.

It is believed that the goalkeeper thinks Moyes’ decision to drop him for the Hammers’ last three league games of the season was the key reason for his international snub.

However while Hart may think that, Hammers supporters ripped into the goalkeeper and claimed he only had himself to blame.

One fan stated that that the shot-stopper had been poor all season at the London Stadium bar the game against Chelsea, while another stated that Hart would have got her club relegated.

The 31-year-old featured 23 times for the Hammers in the recently concluded season, while on loan from Manchester City, conceding 42 goals in the process and kept only six clean sheets.

The Sun previously reported that the 6ft 4in tall goalkeeper earned £120,000-a-week at the Hammers for the duration of his loan deal.

Hart is expected to head back to his parent club now the season is over, as according to the Daily Mirror, the Hammers will not take up their option to sign the colossus on a permanent basis.
