West Ham will have plenty of movement in their squad this summer, with both incoming and outgoing deals, and one of the players potentially on the move away from the London Stadium is highly-rated defender Reece Oxford.

The 19-year-old has spent the season on-loan with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach and doesn’t believe he has a future in east London, according to The Daily Mailand is subsequently eyeing a permanent move to the German side.

West Ham have seen young Declan Rice develop superbly in east London this season but that has prevented Oxford with another hurdle in his quest for regular first-team opportunities, while the prospect of defensive signings is another concern for the teenager.

Gladbach have made no secret of their desire to seal a permanent deal for the young defender and Oxford is hoping he will be allowed to leave for a fair price, although West Ham will want a decent amount for the talented teenager.
