Cheikhou Kouyate completed 90 minutes in the win over Everton on Sunday afternoon – and West Ham fans on Twitter have annihilated him for his performance.
The 28-year-old central midfielder has been a mainstay in the starting XI, but came in for severe criticism for his efforts on the final day of the Premier League season.
David Moyes’ team recorded a 3-1 victory against the Toffees at the London Stadium and the result means they end the campaign 13th in the table.
Attackers Manuel Lanzini (two) and Marko Arnuatovic were on the scoresheet for the hosts, while Oumar Niasse netted for eight-placed Everton.
The attention will now turn to what is expected to be a huge summer for the Hammers, as they look to respond to a mediocre season.
West Ham fans on social media decided to single out Kouyate for his performance and some have suggested that he must be sold in the transfer window.
The Senegal international finishes the campaign with 37 appearances in all competitions under his belt and did manage an assist on the final day.
He is a midfield destroyer that is guilty of blowing hot and cold, with supporter stating they saw the worst of him against Everton.
