All the talk regarding West Ham this week has orientated around the fall out behind David Moyes and Andy Carroll, which stemmed from the experienced striker angrily storming off the bench in the defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

Moyes then went head-to-head with the forward in training as Carroll refused to apologise, and was subsequently sent home, but he returned in the days that followed and finally apologised for his actions- and Moyes now deems the matter as closed.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s crucial clash with Leicester City, the Scottish boss told a news conference that Carroll would be back in the squad for the trip to the King Power Stadium.

“We’ve fined him, he’s apologised to the players and myself, so we’ve move on and it’s done and dusted. He’ll be in the squad this weekend.”

Moyes also revealed Pedro Obiang and James Collins were still not fully match fit but have returned to training.
