West Ham are set for a wealth of changes this summer and there will be plenty of ins and outs at the London Stadium this summer.
Championship side Birmingham City are looking to take advantage of those potential departures in the summer transfer market, as Birmingham Live states the club have taken young goalkeeper Rihards Matrevics on trial.
The Latvia U19 international featured for Birmingham’s U23 side against Crystal Palace on Monday, as well as taking part in the clash with Bolton Wanderers last Friday- giving him the chance to earn a potential move to St. Andrews.
Matrevics has been with West Ham since 2015, earning appearances in Premier League 2., but first-team opportunities for the 19-year-old have been limited and he’s unlikely to break into David Moyes’ side imminently.
Loanee Joe Hart could still be signed on a permanent deal this summer, while experienced stopper Adrian is also battling for more regular opportunities.
