West Ham face a stern test in their final nine games of the Premier League season, as the Hammers currently sit just three points above the relegation zone following last week’s defeat to Swansea City.

David Moyes’ side have suffered significantly on the road this season, winning just twice away from the London Stadium, but have a huge boost for the remainder of the game due to the fact that six of their last nine matches are at home.

Because of that, West Ham skipper Mark Noble has assured fans the Hammers will not suffer relegation this season and has backed his team to do what’s necessary in the crucial run of home matches, which starts this weekend against Burnley.

Speaking to the club’s website, Noble said:

‘They are all big games now and we just need to knuckle down and get the results we need to get ourselves out of trouble come the end of the season. I don’t think we will wilt because we’re at home, which is a big plus for us at the minute, because we’re playing well at London Stadium.’

‘We need to get points, it’s as simple as that. Do I think we’ll be fine? Yes, because I think we’ve got enough here and we will pick up results.’

One major difficulty though is the calibre of sides West Ham must face, as they still have to tackle Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
