West Ham face a stern test ahead in the coming months, as they seek to retain their Premier League status and solve their problems in the transfer market this summer.
A bold decision has been made by the club’s board to restructure the recruitment picture this summer, as the Hammers are looking to appoint a Director of Football to oversee things- but it’s unlikely to be one name who has been floating about.
EXWHUEmployee has stated on Twitter that the club are unlikely to appoint Harry Redknapp in a Director of Football capacity, who has expressed an interest in taking the role at the London Stadium.
Despite Redknapp expressing interest in the director of football job at West Ham, it is very unlikely the board will appoint him and have other targets instead ⚒

Instead, the board will consider other targets and will overlook Redknapp who, admittedly, doesn’t have the experienced required to turn around the club’s fortunes- especially with the rising tension amongst the supporters.
West Ham sit just three points above the relegation zone heading into the final eight games of the season, so there’s plenty of work to do after the international break.
