West Ham are preparing for a restructure heading into the summer transfer window, as the Hammers look to avoid making the same mistakes in the market as they have done in recent years.

The club have already revealed a major shake-up in recruitment and scouting behind the scenes, following disappointments in previous windows, and there’s a growing sense of optimism around east London that things could genuinely improve.

Amidst it all, West Ham have increased their scouting presence on the continent and were once again spotted eyeing talents in Portugal- although A Bola states those in attendance for the game between Moreirense and G.D. Chaves were not eyeing anyone in particular.

Instead, it’s stated that West Ham had representatives following the action in case there was any stand-out performances and the Hammers were not alone in that regard, as it’s stated two other English sides were also at the game.

Representatives from Deportivo La Coruna, Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Gijon, Lens, Caen and Sparta Prague were also at the game, which means West Ham may face competition if anyone caught their eye.
