West Ham boss David Moyes continues to be intent on bolstering his defensive options and it’s been suggested that another deal is close to being agree.

According to the reliable ExWHUEmployee on Twitter, the Hammers have Fulham full-back Ryan Fredericks on a free transfer as the established Cottagers man is coming to the end of his contract in west London.

The 25-year-old has become a regular for the promotion chasing side in recent years, making 96 appearances overall, and his arrival would add further competition for Sam Byram, whilst also providing a long-term replacement for the ageing Pablo Zabaleta.

Rising through the ranks as a youngster at Tottenham Hotspur, Fredericks would likely jump at a chance to make an impression in the Premier League as he left White Hart Lane without a single league appearance to his name.

He previously spent time on-loan at Brentford, Millwall, Middlesbrough and Bristol City, before then moving to Fulham in 2015 and signing a three-year deal, which is now coming to a close.
