Chicharito finally on-song
Perhaps the biggest change in recent matches as been the reduced reliability on Arnautovic, as Mexican striker Javier Hernandez has finally found his feet since returning to the Premier League last summer- after initially looking sub-par.
Speculation in January suggested the £16m recruit could have left the club, and Hernandez revealed that was on the cards, but he’s remained in the squad and his determined to fight- now scoring in back-to-back Premier League matches.
Hernandez’s goal this weekend could have been the turning point though as it opened the scoring after a prolonged period of Watford pressure and also became the first time he’s scored in a game that West Ham have gone on to win.
