West Ham boss David Moyes has continued with his transfer activity in East London, despite the closure of the mid-season window last week.
The Hammers were linked to a number of targets during the course of January and many pursuits ended up leaving Moyes empty handed, which is why he’s made a move in the market this week to land Patrice Evra on a free transfer.
Former Manchester United defender Evra has been without a club since having his contract at Marseille cancelled three months ago, after kicking a supporter, and Moyes’ defensive issues in East London have led to him handing the 36-year-old a lifeline.
With West Ham still needing improvements to fend away the threat of relegation to the Championship, as they currently sit just three points above the relegation zone, further movement could follow and these three agents are certainly worth considering.
