West Ham may face a big decision in the weeks ahead as the January transfer window comes to a close, especially regarding the striking areas of their squad.

Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho are both expected to leave this month but they may not be the only attacking departures from the London Stadium, with reports suggesting that the club will listen to offers for Javier Hernandez.

The future of Andy Carroll is also up in the air amidst Chelsea’s interest but The Daily Mail states that the Hammers have adopted a firm stance on the 29-year-old, insisting he will not be sent on-loan.

Chelsea are keen to bring Carroll to West London as cover for Alvaro Morata, who has encountered a poor run of form recently, especially as it looks increasingly likely that Michy Batshuayi will be leaving on-loan this month.

West Ham are not interested in the Belgian striker’s services, as David Moyes has his doubts, but would consider selling Carroll if a fee of between £15-20m was offered.

However, it’s not clear whether Chelsea would be prepared to pay for his services as the Blues would likely be seeking a new striker in the summer to remain understudy to Morata.
