West Ham United are eyeing for a move for Reading defender Liam Moore, but will face competition from Scottish champions Celtic, reports Burton Mail.
Moore who has had an impressive start to the new campaign for Jaap Stam’s side, making 23 appearances already for Reading this season, scoring 3 goals, and was instrumental last season as Stam’s side made it to the play-off finals.
Stam however is keen to hold onto the former Leicester City star, saying: “Let me put it like this: if you want to build a club and go somewhere you’re not going to sell one of your best players.”
The Dutchman may find it hard to keep hold of his prized asset should a substantial bid come in for him.
West Ham manager David Moyes is looking to add youth to his ageing defence, with Jose Fonte (33), James Collins (34) and Angelo Ogbonna (29) have all having missed substantial parts of the campaign through injury.
While Moyes is keen however, the West Ham fans have their reservations …
He has a shocker against Man Utd last season and looked out of his depth against top class players!!!
