West Ham boss David Moyes has made a bold claim ahead of this evening’s Carabao Cup quarter-final with Arsenal, declaring that he could manage any club in the world.

The Scottish manager has led to vast improvements since taking over at the London Stadium, the highlight of which has seen them rise out of the Premier League’s relegation zone following a run of three matches unbeaten.

West Ham have enjoyed three consecutive clean sheets after victories over Chelsea and Stoke City, either side of a goalless draw with Arsenal at the London Stadium- the side they face this evening as they seek to reach the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

Ahead of the game, Moyes has made a big statement to hit back at the critics he earned following disappointing stints with Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland, stating he’s capable of managing any club in the world.

Quoted by The BBC, Moyes said:

“I think I’m capable of doing the job at any club in the world so I’m sure I can do it at West Ham. I have to come here and show I can do it. You have to come and show what you can do. Your reputation doesn’t stand for anything.”

“You have to come here and try to get up and show you’re capable of doing the job.”
