Former Sky Sports pundit Richard Keys has hit out at the FA and says West Ham manager David Moyes should be ‘outraged’ after Manuel Lanzini’s recent ban for diving.

The Argentine midfielder was handed a three game suspension for ‘simulation’ after he went down in the area in a 3-0 win over Stoke City without contact.

While Keys agrees Lanzini deserved his ban however, he has slammed for the FA for inconsistency after they failed to punish Leicester City star Demarai Gray for a similar incident in the Carabao Cup against Manchester City earlier in the week.

“Now I’m completely baffled @FA Demarai Gray won’t be charged with simulation,” said Keys on his official Twitter account.

“This is nonsense. We might as well rip up these guidelines and start again. It’s a mess. David Moyes has got even more right to be furious.”

Lanzini missed the Carabao Cup quarter final against Arsenal, and will be unavailable against Newcastle United this weekend.
