West Ham manager David Moyes is thought to be keen on bringing out-of-favour Arsenal star Theo Walcott to the London Stadium in January, reports Football London.

The Englishman has found first team opportunities difficult to come by at the Emirates this season, with Arsene Wenger opting to use a number of his other forwards in front of the former Southampton man.

Alexandre Lacazette, Olivier Giroud, Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez are all preferred going forward by the Frenchman to Walcott, limiting him to just 6 starts this season, with none of them coming in the Premier League.

With a World Cup around the corner, Walcott is thought to be keen to earn regular football in order to make it into Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the tournament in Russia next year – something David Moyes and West Ham are believed to be interested in offering him.

The Scotsman will have money to spend in January after what has been a poor start to the season, and Walcott is one of his top targets as he looks to keep the Hammers from relegation.
