West Ham United are amongst the Premier League sides entering the FA Cup third-round draw this evening, with the ties set to take place on the weekend of January 6th.

The Hammers could face a number of potential opponents but the manager of West Ham’s arch-rivals, Millwall, has picked out David Moyes’ side as the ideal opponent for the FA Cup, along with their fellow Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace.

Speaking after the weekend’s 3-1 victory over Sheffield United in the Championship, Millwall boss Neil Harris said:

“First and foremost our concentration is going to be on the league. But what I’m hoping for in the draw is West Ham, away or at home. I’m not fussed where we play.”

“The two ties I’d really like to play is West Ham or Crystal Palace. My players have experienced so much – so many good times in a Millwall shirt – and I’d love them to experience games against West Ham or Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.”

A tie would certainly be appealing for both sides, who’s clashes against each other in recent years have been limited due to playing in different divisions.
