West Ham will listen to offers for striker Andy Carroll this January, reports Claret and Hugh.
Carroll, who first joined the Hammers on-loan from Liverpool in 2012 before completing a permanent switch a year later in a £15 million deal, has failed to find the net this season, and recently picked up yet another injury which has again ruled him out for a number of weeks.
Despite being a fan favourite at the London Stadium, Carroll’s effectiveness over the years has been heavily questioned, with the former Newcastle man failing to hit double figures in Claret and Blue since joining from Liverpool back in 2012.
Now after what has been a frustrating few seasons for player and club, it appears Carroll’s time in East London could now be coming to an end with David Moyes reportedly willing to part ways with the player after the New Year, with former club Newcastle are thought to be amongst those interested.
The West Ham fans don’t seem to mind the idea of parting ways with Carroll after what has been a poor season …
Time is right. We put up with his injuries because we knew what he could offer when fully fit, but to start mugging of the supporters when he is not showing up at all. It's time for him to go! All things considered he won't be greatly missed!!!
