West Ham striker Diafra Sakho has landed himself in hot water again after a bizarre row with manager David Moyes over his appearance bonus.

The Senegal international earns a reported £40,000 a week at the London Stadium, however that weekly wage is bumped up by an extra £10,000 if he starts a Premier League game.

After limited opportunities so far this season, Sakho decided to confront his manager of his top flight bonuses – before a Carabao Cup game.

The Hammers lost to Arsenal 1-0 on Tuesday night, but before the clash, Sakho was said to have spoken to Moyes about his lack of playing time, believing his hefty appearance bonus is what has kept the Scot from picking him.

He then reportedly threatened the leave before kick-off, however was convinced and remained on the bench.

The striker has made 14 appearances from the bench this season, but is yet to start a top flight game.
