Ex-England international and Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp has hailed defenders Arthur Masuaku and Winston Reid for their role in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea.

David Moyes’ side came out victors at the London Stadium thanks to a solitary goal for Marko Arnautovic, with the three points being the Scotsman’s first since taking charge of the Hammers last month.

While it was Arnautovic who was heavily praised for his role in the win, Redknapp instead believes it was defensive duo Masuaku and Reid who made the difference, naming them both in his Telegraph Team of the Week.

West Ham were one of three sides who had two players named in the former Liverpool midfielder’s TOTW, with Tottenham’s Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, and Manchester City’s Ederson and David Silva too making the cut.

The win for West Ham takes them to 13 points for the season, and a win against Arsenal on Wednesday will lift them out of the relegation zone.
