Championship side plotting audacious move for West Ham striker

Championship side Cardiff City are plotting an audacious move for West Ham striker Diafra Sakho, reports Wales Online.

The Bluebirds are currently struggling for numbers up front with both Kenneth Zohore and Danny Ward out injured, and could turn to the Hammers want-a-away forward after the New Year.

Sakho has been vocal with his desire to leave the London Stadium after a frustrating few years with the club.

The Senegal international infamously tried to force a move away from East London on deadline day during the summer, travelling to Ligue 1 side Rennes for a medical, only to be denied a move at the last moments by the West Ham owners.

Despite staying however, Sakho still insists he wants out, and Cardiff City could be prepared to offer him that.

The Hammers want a reported £12 million for the striker, however could be willing to barter with the Bluebirds with Sakho’s contract in East London runs out at the end of the year.
