It’s been a busy week for West Ham, with the club slipping into the relegation zone following events over the course of the weekend, with the Hammers losing to Liverpool and Everton beating Watford.
A decision was made yesterday to relieve Slaven Bilic from his position as manager and the Hammers board have wasted no time in finding a replacement, confirming today that former Manchester United and Sunderland manager David Moyes has been given the post.
After failing to save Sunderland from relegation last season, many fans are far from pleased with the decision that has been made and are not optimistic for the remainder of the season ahead- where the Hammers need to fight to push themselves away from the relegation zone.
Many supporters flocked to the club’s official Twitter page to give their verdict on the appointment and we’ve selected some of the best below. Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
My god, what have you done..

A top quality owner attracts a top quality board attracts a top quality manager attracts top quality players. David Moyes it is then.

Really hope this appointment surprises us and brings to West Ham what he did at Everton in a short period. Fans have GOT to get behind him & the team. I’m worried like most people but I have a good feeling as well 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 #COYI
