West Ham United are desperate to turn their fortunes around between now and the end of the season, with the Hammers currently occupying a spot in the Premier League’s relegation zone.

Slaven Bilic was recently replaced by David Moyes at the London Stadium but the Scottish boss was unable to lead to immediate improvements in the side, losing his first game in charge 2-0 to Watford.

Moyes faces his first home match this evening, against Leicester City, and it appears he’s keen to snatch a midfielder from a fellow top-flight club, although he’s set to face competition in the market for the services of the midfielder.

The Daily MirrorĀ states West Ham and Crystal Palace will go head-to-head in January for the services of Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter, who has been an integral part of the Cherries rise through the divisions in the past seven years.

Arter penned a new four-year deal with the South Coast side earlier this year but his loyalty could be tested, with both Premier League relegation struggles looking at him to provide a boost in the second-half of the season.
