New West Ham boss David Moyes is likely to move for a number of his former players in an attempt to rescue the Hammers’ season, reports the Daily Express.

Moyes has built a reputation for a bringing a number of his ex-players along with him when he moves clubs, and the Express believe there will be no difference after his appointment at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have had a poor start to the season under now former boss Slaven Bilic, winning only 2 of their 11 top flight games so far despite spending heavily the summer.

Rather than raid the transfer bank account again, it could be that Moyes moves for a number of his ‘old guard’ instead.

Amongst the list of players compiled that the Scotsman is thought to be interested in are Marouane Fellaini, Steven Pienaar, Victor Anichebe and Adnan Januzaj.

All four of the aforementioned have followed Moyes between two of his five previous clubs, and now look set to make it third time lucky this January should the former-Manchester United manager have his way.

Also on the list are a number of other ex players Bryan Oviedo, Darren Gibson and Joleon Lescott.
