West Ham United are struggling to find their feet in the Premier League this season and Slaven Bilic’s position as manager is severely under threat, with the Hammers currently sat just a single point above the relegation zone.
Reportedly given two games to save his position a week ago, following a heavy defeat to Brighton, West Ham defeated Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup before throwing away a two-goal lead at the weekend to draw with Crystal Palace.
Remaining unbeaten through those matches seems to have given Bilic room to breathe but he could find himself out of a job over the course of the upcoming international break, particularly as the fans have already turned their back.
Unimpressed by the displays they’ve seen on the field, West Ham fans are calling for change and are frustrated to see talented youngsters within their ranks consistently overlooked despite their superb form.
None more so than striker Toni Martinez, who scored again in the U23’s victory over Bristol City last night, and fans have taken to social media to demand that the young striker, and other members of the young squad, are given their chance.
How theses players are not in the first team astounds me… Samuelson and Martinez must be in the the 1st team squad
