David Moyes is due to fly into London to hold talks with West Ham over the vacant managers job, reports the Evening Standard.

The Scot has been hotly tipped to be the successor to Slaven Bilic at the London Stadium after the Croatian was sacked earlier today.

Bilic was fired after months of speculation over his future amidst the Hammers poor start to the season in which his side won only 2 of their opening 11 Premier League games.

Now, only hours after his departure, it appears Chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan have already found his replacement in the form of ex-Manchester United, Everton and Sunderland boss David Moyes.

Moyes – who has been working as a TV pundit in Qatar – is reportedly flying back to the UK this afternoon to ahead of talks with the club.

The Scot is set to be offered a short-term deal at the London Stadium with an option of a longer contract should he keep the Hammers in the top flight.

Moyes has been sacked from two of his last three jobs, with his last stint as a manager being at Sunderland, with whom he was relegated last season before subsequently resigning.
