West Ham are still looking for their first victory under the guidance of David Moyes, having been on the receiving end of a 4-0 drubbing last night.

The Hammers had the chance to rise out of the relegation zone with a victory but fell well short, losing 4-0 at Goodison Park- a result that hands a major boost to Everton’s hopes and leaves Moyes’ side inside the bottom three.

West Ham sit two points from safety and now face a very difficult run of fixtures in the coming weeks, with the Hammers clashing with Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Performances need to improve and Moyes picked out one player in particular for criticism last night, as he claimed Joe Hart should have done better with his clearance for Everton’s third goal. Quoted by Football.London, he said:

“I have a view on it, yes, and the kick should have been much better. Whether it was a slide or kick, it had to go somewhere that it wasn’t going to put us in any danger, but it did put us in danger.”

Hart, on-loan from Manchester City, has continued to struggle for consistency during his time at the London Stadium and needs to improve his performances significantly.
