West Ham face a crucial battle on Friday evening against fellow underperforming side Leicester City, with both teams looking to push themselves away from the relegation.
The Hammers, sat third bottom, can pull just one point behind the Foxes with a win at the London Stadium, whilst Leicester could open up a seven point advantage over the drop zone with a win and move into the top-half of the table.
It’s also set to be David Moyes’ first game in charge of West Ham at the London Stadium and he’ll be looking for improvements, after a 2-0 defeat to Watford last weekend meant he was unable to provide an instant impact.
There were some signs of positivity from the Hammers though and club-record signing Marko Arnautovic played his best match since signing from Stoke City, before getting injured, though many fans are still unconvinced on the Austrian international.
After a recent update on Arnautovic’s injury, which suggested he could be fit for Friday’s game against the Foxes, fans took to social media to give their thoughts- and it’s fair to say opinions were varied.
After his antics on Sunday, I’d hate to see how he acts if he really gets hurt. He should be ashamed. It’s a thumb, get up and walk off the pitch. Pathetic. He acted like he’d had his arm torn off.

He knew what he was doing, begging to stay on only after the sub was readied. Get him out now

I'm glad it's not serious, and he did play better than he has been playing recently, but what a pansy!!!

Arnautovic was one of the only players playing like he wanted to win…Nearly scored if it wasn't for a great save!! Very talented player!
Awful, news really. I was hoping (And I suspect he was too) that he's be out for a few weeks. One of the strangest signings ever made, and that's from someone who witnessed Boogers first game and Beauchamps antics!
