West Ham United could part ways with a number of the club’s top youngsters this January in order to fund the transfer plans to David Moyes, reports Football 365.

Moyes was appointed only yesterday following the sacking of Slaven Bilic, with the Scot being lured to the London Stadium on a temporary six month contract.

His objective: keep West Ham in the Premier League.

However after having spent heavily in the summer on a number of new players, the club will need to free up funds for Moyes to bring in the players he feels necessary to meet his goals after the New Year.

In order to do so, a number of the club’s most promising young stars could be on their way out of East London in order to allow more experienced top flight talent to come in and save the club’s season.

Declan Rice, Josh Cullen and Reece Burke, the latter two who are currently out on-loan, are thought to be just some of those who could face the (no pun intended) cull this winter.

The futures of Reece Oxford and Toni Martinez have also been thrown into doubt following the appointment of Moyes.

The ex-Sunderland, Manchester United and Everton boss is expected to be looking at a number of his former stars including the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar to make the switch to the London Stadium.
