West Ham remain interested in Senegal star Badou Ndiaye despite missing out on the midfielder to Turkish side Galatasaray during the summer, reports Sporx.

The Hammers were reported to have secured a deal for the 26-year-old during the summer, however he instead chose to make the switch from former side Osmanlıspor to The Lions instead in a deal worth a reported €7.5 million.

Ndiaye however has had a tough start to life at his new club, and while he has featured seven times this season, he is yet to find the net and is not manager Igor Tudor’s preferred option in attacking midfield.

His lack of game time has paved the way for him to potentially leave Istanbul only months after joining, with West Ham understood to remain keen on securing the Senegal international’s services.

They however are not alone, with London rivals Tottenham also thought to be interested, as both sides look to add strength in depth going into the second half of the Premier League season.
