West Ham will not to be looking to add any new players this January, at least according to manager Slaven Bilic.

The Hammers have had an awful start to the new Premier League season, winning only 2 of their 10 games so far, leaving them dangerously close to the foot of the table.

While Bilic’s side have had a solid run in the EFL Cup – they face Arsenal in the quarter-finals next month – many still expected West Ham to invest heavily again in January in an attempt to turn around their season.

Bilic however, says otherwise, insisting his side remain entirely focused on the task at hand.

“No, not all no.” Bilic said (via Football London) when questioned as to whether he was looking to strengthen his squad this January. “I don’t think about that.

“Maybe we have spoke about it but the full concentration is on Saturday as we have the break afterwards.”

The Hammers have been linked with a number of high profile stars including Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge, however any such moves now appear to have been put on hold till at least next summer following Bilic’s recent revelations.
