West Ham fans have admitted they fear relegation to the Championship following the club’s most recent defeat at the weekend which leaves them 18th in the Premier League.
The Hammers lost 2-0 to Watford at Vicarage Road, with goals from Will Hughes Brazilian Richarlison sealing the Hammers 3rd defeat in 4 top flight games.
Much was expected of West Ham at the weekend after the appointment of David Moyes as the club’s new manager, with many expecting the players to pull off a shock result, as so many do after the introduction of a new boss, however it was not to be.
Watford can thank goalkeeper Heurelio Gomes for a string of fine saves that kept the Hammers out, however ultimately Moyes’ side were second best and the season continue to look bleak for the East London side.
While still barely a third of the way through the season, some of the Hammers fans already believe their side are doomed to relegation, and have taken to Twitter to share their worries …

West Ham should have gone for Koeman instead of Moyes. Now they have invited relegation amongst them..

I started panicking about relegation after he Newcastle game. 1st 3 games without a point and we didn't even turn up. Things are much worse.

Five things I learned today:
1. Gary Anderson wins the World Darts Championship
2. The NFL is finally good again
3. West Ham are going down
4. You can actually get 20/1 that Thomas Campbell wins the Stayers Hurdle
5. It’s about Debbie McGee and far too rude for Twitter.— PaulTheGame (@Paulthegame) November 19, 2017
If we go down I can’t see us getting crowds of more than 30,000 next season. 90% of fans hate the ground and not many tourists will go to watch Championship football.
