West Ham could be ready to make a January move for out-of-favour Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar, reports Sports Witness.

The Serie A giants were reportedly ready to let go of the striker during the summer, with West Ham set to bid €15 million for the striker after Diafra Sakho seemed on his way out of the London Stadium.

However, with Sakho’s deadline day fiasco not materialising, no such deal was made.

Sakho has been clear with his desire to still leave East London however, and with Andy Carroll too rumoured to be on his way out of the club following a poor start to the season, the Hammers are expected to go in again for Babacar after the New Year.

The Senegalese striker has fallen out-of-favour at the Serie A club, and is yet to start a game this season despite scoring two goals from the bench.

Fiorentina’s interest in Lazio’s Filip Djordjevic means it is likely Babacar will allowed to leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi this January.
