West Ham have found themselves in a bit of a sticky situation this season as the Hammers slipped into the relegation zone over the course of the weekend.
A 4-1 defeat to Liverpool accompanied by Everton’s 3-2 win over Watford on Sunday condemned West Ham to sit in the bottom three for the course of the international break and ultimately cost Slaven Bilic his position as manager.
With the Croatian gone, along with the majority of his backroom staff, changes are afoot at the London Stadium and David Moyes’ arrival has grabbed the headlines, although not necessarily for the best reasons.
Fans seem to be in a happier mood this week though and they’ve given an interesting response to the club after a recent tweet, where West Ham’s official Twitter page wished former defender Rio Ferdinand a happy birthday.
It seemed one thing was on the mind of supporters as they asked for one thing- for Rio to come in as a coach.
Could have made him defensive coach a year ago and we wouldn't be in this mess

I hope he also brings in @rioferdy5 as a defensive coach. Pearce and Ferdinand would be fantastic additions.
