West Ham fans have breathed a sigh of relief after it was revealed former boss Slaven Bilic turned down the vacant manager’s job at West Bromwich Albion.
The Croatian was sacked from his role at the London Stadium earlier in the month and replaced swiftly with David Moyes after a poor start to the season.
However, not all of the Claret and Blue army were happy with the decision, instead pointing the blame at the club’s board instead of Bilic who two seasons previous had guided the club to their second best ever finish in Premier League history.
After Bilic’s dismissal, West Brom manager Tony Pulis became the latest top flight managerial casualty only days later, and Bilic – who had been out of a job a matter of just over a week – was hotly touted to take the vacant position at the Hawthorns.
A West Ham fan’s worst nightmare? Sack Bilic. Employ Moyes. Bilic to West Brom. West Brom stay up and West Ham go down.
Much to the relief of the Hammers fans, the Croatian has snubbed the job.
