So it looks like Alan Pardew is about to take the vacant job at West Bromwich Albion after Tony Pulis was sacked last week.
To add to the less-than-shocking news that ‘Pards’ is back in business in the Premier League, his good old friend and another former West Ham manager Sam Allardyce to looks to be back in the game, with him expected to be announced as the new manager of Everton in the next 24 hours.
Now I know I had a nap this afternoon, however I don’t believe I slept for the best part of a decade, because by the sounds of it we are back in 2007.
Wait. Didn’t Roy Hodgson just land himself a job too at Crystal Palace? AND DAVID MOYES AT WEST HAM?!
Deja-vu is striking hard, and by the looks of it it’s not just me.
Following the latest string of run-of-the-mill managerial appointments, there has been a bit of a social media backlash from football fans across the country.
Why aren’t there some fresh faces appearing in the Premier League roundabout?

God help football if the Premier League is considered the best in the world and Allardyce, Pardew, Hodgson & Moyes are managing in it.

Hodgson, 4th go at the PL, zero English honours
Moyes, 4th go at the PL, zero English honours
Pardew, likely 4th go at the PL, zero English honours
Allardyce, likely 6th go at the PL, zero English honours
It's not foreigners holding young British coaches back.

Allardyce, moyes, pulis, pardew, always the same names in the premier league, teams just swap the same mangers all the time, why don’t they give somebody else the opportunity?
