After his axing from Everton, Ronald Koeman claimed that missing out on Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was the reason for his sacking, with the club failing to replace Romelu Lukaku after his summer transfer to Manchester United.
With West Ham struggling to find consistency in front of goal, Koeman could look to land the French international to lead his line alongside Javier Hernandez. The duo could theoretically develop a superb partnership, although luring him away from North London would prove to be difficult.
