West Ham face a battle to improve their squad in January but they may face a fight to keep some of the important members of their squad.

Summer signing Marko Arnautovic, who arrived for a record fee from Stoke City, has struggled to make a positive impression at the London Stadium but the Austrian international has shown improvements in the two matches under David Moyes.

However, speculation continues to suggest that the Hammers could look to cash in on the 28-year-old and Turkish website Ajansspor states the attacker’s representatives have been invited to Istanbul for talks with Fenerbache.

Given the improvements shown by Arnautovic, persuading the Austrian to switch Premier League football with West Ham for a move to Fenerbache would be difficult and the Hammers are also likely to command a hefty sum for his services.

Despite that, it’s claimed Arnautovic’s agent will be in Istanbul next week for discussions regarding a potential transfer in the New Year.
