Striker Javier Hernandez insists he remains happy at the London Stadium amidst rumours that he could leave the club as soon as January.

The Mexico international joined West Ham during the summer in a £16 million deal from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, however after a difficult start to life in England talks of an imminent departure had already begun.

Hernandez has found the net only three times this season, and has often been utilised out wide by manager Slaven Bilic, much to the frustration of the Claret and Blue army.

Despite the tough start however, the former Manchester United hitman insists he will be staying in East London.

“That’s a lie! I’m very happy at West Ham!! #COYI.” tweeted Hernandez following rumours linking him with a move to La Liga with Valencia or Sevilla.

Hernandez, who was on target for his country yet again at the weekend during a 3-1 victory over Trinidad and Tobago, has two and half years remaining on his contract at the London Stadium.
