On Monday, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed that striker Harry Kane would not be starting the Carabao Cup fourth round tie against West Ham tonight.
The England international has been in lethal form with 13 goals in 12 appearances despite not featuring in the domestic cup competition so far this season.
His brace in the 4-1 win over Liverpool on Sunday means he would have gone into tonight’s match high in confidence, but it seems as though that Spurs, like the Hammers, will be resting some of their key players.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic can’t afford to take too many risks in his selection though with it being reported that he has just two games to save his job.
Hammer fans are however still not very optimistic about getting result this evening despite the absence of Kane from the starting lineup at Wembley. In fact, the Twitter reaction suggests most supporters are just hoping they won’t be facing a heavy defeat.
Still we going to lose regardless

They could put out their junior side and we could still not beat them

We'll still concede 3+ regardless of Kane on the pitch or not

They can beat us without him tbh if they really want. It's not a bad time.to be playing us is it really. But this might just kick start us.
