West Ham are set to challenge Liverpool for the signature of in-form Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk, reports TalkSPORT.

The Poland international was linked with a move to Anfield in the summer after an impressive season in the Belgian top flight in which he scored 27 times.

Having now carried that form into the new season, interest remains rife, and both Liverpool and West could be set to test Anderlecht’s resolve again this January.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is looking to bolster his attacking options after a poor start to the season and rumours of the potential departures of both Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho, whilst Liverpool will look to the Polish striker as a replacement for Daniel Sturridge who is heavily rumoured to be on his way out of Anfield.

Teodorczyk has 14 caps for his country and has found the net on 4 occasions, most recently against Slovenia in a friendly last November.
