West Ham are eyeing an ambitious move for Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann as a potential replacement for Slaven Bilic, reports the Daily Mail.

The Croatian has been told he has only two games to save his Hammers career after a dismal start to the Premier League season, however it is widely expected he is to leave the club in the coming weeks.

The recent dismissal of Everton boss Ronald Koeman, whose side remain level on points with the Hammers, has turned up the heat on Bilic.

A number of candidates have already been mentioned as successors at the London Stadium, including Koeman himself and former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel, however the latest name to enter the frame is Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann.

Nagelsmann, 30, is seen as one of the hottest young coaching talents around after leading Hoffenheim into Germany’s top four last season, having taken over as the youngest manager in Bundesliga history.

Hoffenheim are again fourth in the league after nine games, and it is expected Nagelsmann will remain in charge of the German outfit at least until the end of the season despite interest from West Ham.
