Former West Ham target Henry Onyekuru could be set for a shock move to Serie A giants Juventus, only months after turning down a move to the London Stadium.

The Nigerian youngster was heavily linked with a move to the Hammers during the summer, however instead opted to join Premier League rivals Everton instead.

After joining the Toffees, Onyekuru was immediately set away on a season-long loan to Belgian side Anderlecht, where he was enjoyed a fine start to his career with his new side. The 20-year-old has found the net four times already this season.

Now in a strange turn of events, the Nigeria international could leave Everton and indeed the Premier League without playing a single game.

Italian news outlet Tuttosport report that Onyekuru has caught the eye of Serie A champions Juventus, who could line up a move for the forward come the end of the season should his good form continue.

Should Juve move for ex-West Ham target, he is likely to cost them far in excess of the £7 million the Hammers had originally agreed to pay for him in the summer before Everton swooped in to steal his signature.
