West Ham have found themselves in a turbulent position this season but the Hammers secured a valuable victory yesterday, sealing their spot in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup following a dramatic win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Slaven Bilic’s side entered half-time at Wembley Stadium 2-0 down, looking dead and buried, but a miraculous recovery after the break turned the tide of the game and resulted in a 3-2 win for the East London outfit.
A brace from Andre Ayew got the Hammers back in the game, before Angelo Ogbonna’s winner sparked scenes of celebration in the away end and on the pitch- where one man’s show of passion got the fans talking.
Goalkeeper Adrian, who has publicly spoken about his desire to have more first-team opportunities at the London Stadium, ran the full length of the pitch to celebrate the winning goal- which led many to state he should be reinstated as the club’s number one, ahead of loanee Joe Hart.
Because he cares more than Hart! Adrian is and always should be our Number 1 GK!

Thatโs why he should be the No.1 Goalkeeper. His placement on saves tonight were exceptional. First goal well taken second was deflection.
