West Ham captain Mark Noble called a crisis meeting between his players earlier this week ahead of tonight’s Carabao Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Hammers have had a less than ideal start to the new season, and after their dismal 3-0 loss to newly promoted Brighton at the weekend, Noble has grouped the squad together in attempt to salvage their already flailing campaign as well as Slaven Bilic’s job.

The gathering is said to have lasted just ten minutes, during which Noble told other players to buck their ideas up and help keep Bilic in a job.

The Croat has been told by the powers that be in East London that he as only two games to save his job after the club’s poor start to the season.

The Hammers have won just two of their eight top flight fixtures so far this season, and currently sit dangerously above the relegation zone in 16th place.
